Manchester & Liverpool
For those with an interest in shopping and urban culture, the two major regoinal cities of Manchester and Liverpool offer excellent shops, restaurants and cultural activities such as museums, art galleries and theatre. Both are around an hours drive from Blackpool.
To the north, Preston also has excellent shops and facilities and is less than half an hour from Blackpool.
